hey, i jus finished my tippmann/cocker. and it works!!. and boy does it work!!!! its so awesome. it is very accurate and has a very good velocity. ill have pics up soon, after i paint it. (i keep makin a new post cus mine get pushed 2 the back lol) feel free 2 ask questions/make comments:D

and o ya, that hose going from the side of the gun, to the elbow is a lil "air feeder" i whipped up with extra hose. every time u shoot extra blowback goes into the elbow, its pretty cool

Uhhh I dont get it. What was the purpose of adding the pnuematics to an already blowback marker?? Or did you change out the valve and turn it into a cocker?

thanks guys. ya i definitly need to make it look better. i was ganna use scope mounts on the ram, but i cant find any small enough. and the point of puttin pnumatics on it is 2 turn it closed bolt, derrr, ya it is still blowback, but it is closed bolt, like a cocker. if u have any ideas on makin it look better and stuff, feel free to tell me

Well a cocker valve would prevent blowback ;), so I guess you just made yourself a cocker in a m98 body. Very interesting. Did the valve fit in there no problem, or what kind of internal modifications were necessary?

One that could make it look better, although not a whole lot, are those hose clamps, put like the LPR underneath the barrel, the ram on the side of the gun, and the 3 way, where its possible, in between the LPR and the ram on the side of the body maybe? But then you might have linkage problems.

dude, listen, this is how the gun works. u pull the trigger, and the hammer goes forward, opening the valve(it is the stock model 98, tippmann valve)right after the gun shoots, the ram pulls the front bolt back, loading a ball, then when the trigger is released the ram pushed the front bolt forward, loading the ball into the barrel, it is then ready 2 shoot again. there is still blowback, but only 2 recock the hammer.:rolleyes:

ya tell me bout it, this sucka is incredibly ghetto, but not 4 to long, im ganna get a stainless steel cocker pump arm, and modify it 2 work on the ram, and an actuating ron to go from the trigger 2 the 3-way, which i will have 2 modify 2. the only thing left 2 un-ghettotize(<--- my own word) is how the ram is mounted. i still wanna figure something out wit the scope mounts, but i dunno.

That's not really a cocker unless you make a new valve pin to prevent blowback. I'm just about to start my spyder cocker project, the first thing i'll do is make a new valve pin so it doesn't blow back. It's my winter project so i'm taking it slow.

I jus finished modifying, and installing a stainless steel cocker pump arm, and an actuating rod on my tippy/cocker. ill have pics up later tonight. it looks 10 times better. now I just have to build a good mount for the ram.
