i have this real old mag, and yesterday i try puting a new barrel on it, and i realized it doesn't even take standard mag barrels. The barrel that was on it didnt have the hole where the ball fell through, but was shorter with no detents. I didn't even know they made them like that? anyone else ever heard of that? anyway heres the pics

Yes that is a VERY early one, it has a two piece barrel.
First piece is the part the ball falls into then the barrel with twist lock goes into it.
Be carefull tho Tom WILL talk you out of it, it has happend before.:D :D

Hummm... original Level 5, very rare, very collectible in orginal condition. They were all updated to L6+7 and only about 50 are unaccounted for.

Tom, you gonna make him an offer or let the hounds of AO try to sweet talk their way into this marker?

::sniff:: ::sniff::

I had one of those :)

Mine had little springs instead of the foamie as well. It also had a regular plastic hose instead of the steel braid. The vale is also.. dusted, in a way, not polished.

I wish I still had that baby.. but even then I sent it back to AGD long ago to have it updated to lvl 7. It was my tourney marker after all!

The guns shoots, but it leaks quite a bit. Nothing new orings wouldn't fix. The parts seem to be all original.

I was planning on keeping this gun just to use everynow and then for kicks, but i have no problem selling it if an offer arrises that i like. If you guys are interested, email me at dorite_192@hotmail.com or on aim Studley192. Tell me your starting offer (money and/or trade) and i'll tell you what i think based on other offers.

I could definantly use the money to save up for an X-mag, or finish up my current mag. I would be interested in intelliframe and x-valves also.

The serial number for this mag is CF00733.

I have a old original RT mag for sale too, the serial is RT04825

i can mill body rails too, heres a pic of my currently used gun

alright, well i finally took some more pics. Im not sure whether to put them here, or to start a new post. Anyways, they are comparing the valves of ( in this order, from top to bottom) the lvl 5 air valve, a lvl 10 air valve, a original RT valve. These pics are rather large, so get ready for some slowness.

barrels (in order mentioned above)
notice the non-existant ball detents or hole for the ball to drop through on the top barrel from the old mag. Also the spin lock.

one thing i noticed that really struck me as odd was the part of the valve right below the power tube where the bolt seat goes. Im not sure whether the old mag just didn't come with a bolt seat oring, or it just got misplaced, but i did notice that below the powertube it is somewhat encaved and hollow. On the bottom valve, from my lvl 10 gun, it is just flat, and a seat goes over it anyway. Weird stuff

one more thing that was odd to me was that on a oringinal RT mag i have, the top of the bolt protrudes in such a fasion that you cannot put a foamie on it, other wise it either shoots off, or sticks out to much to let ball drop in. The bolt from the regular air valves had room for a foamie. Sorry, i have no picture of the RT bolt, but i have a pic of the gun.

Cool pics...

BTW, the RT bolt you are talking about is a Foamieless bolt. They came out about the time the RT did (96 or so) because people complained about losing the foamie.

why would you want to buy an old corn hole gun? i mean its just a mag thats old!!!!!!!!!!

anyways, if you sell it, i want to know what the final price is because it may go high because there are a ton of old hoot nanny rifle collectors on this site.

my mag that i still have to this day had the rounded spring and whatnot and i still have this mag, it looks nothing like that any more and i traded the old valve when i did the go retro program when it came out...here is what the gun looks like now, that classic thats in there in the pic is also pritty old but its just my back up valve till i ge my tunamax valve...but heres a pic of my current set up, went from very very old to very very new...

UP. I have decided to let go of this gun if the price is right. College has left me broke and desperate. I hate to sell it, but this gun is as described before even though this post is a little old, here are the pictures.

NOTE: in all pictures, the parts from this gun are always the upper most in the picture, be it the valve, on/off, etc. I have put other parts in just as a means to compare this lvl 5 to newer items. As said before, the serial number for this mag is CF00733. no trades, cash only, unless it is a goddamn good trade

No offense, man, since this is a cool marker and all, but stop gravedigging the thread and use the correct forum.

Nice oldie, though.
