I know that the RTP/Emag sears work differently but what is the difference between the sear that came with my minimag and the sear that came with my X-valve? I'm having a problem with my main gun and I wanted to switch the sears to do some troubleshooting but I'm not sure if I can use my minimag sear on the x-valve since the x-valve came with a new one.

Cphilip is right, the one that came w/ the X is a AM/MM sear. Emag/RTPro sears are held into the rail w/ a screw instead of a pin, that's the difference. http://store.airgun.com/agdprod/images/parts/aasearassem_med.jpghttp://store.airgun.com/agdprod/images/parts/RTPsear_med.jpg

Well then why does AGD ship the x-valve with a sear? They dont require you to send one back for the go xvalve program. I thought that they sent you one because you needed that one to use it.

Nope. It's always just been a part of the "upgrade Valve package" from back when they used to sell upgrade kits of RT Valves. They want you to have a new one so you will have a good experience. And they mostly assume you will be upgrading a standard valve if you buy an RT valve (or now X Valve). So basicaly the X Valve upgrade package is just an all Aluminum version of the Retro Valve upgrade package.
