I am considering having my black Emag anodized to a red/black fade but I was wondering if this would void the warranty. Also, will it mess up the tolerances at all? I hear I might need a new size on/off pin, is that correct? Also what are some places that I should consider for this service?

First off, I don't believe it voids the warranty. Generally the only thing that will void the warranty is if you alter the valve in anyway. Second, it has a very small chance of throwing off the tolerances but it's so small don't worry about it. Third, you won't need a new on/off pin. ;) And last but not least, the anodizers that everyone on AO tends to use and trust are: XPB (http://www.xpb.us/index1.htm), A+ Anodizing (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/snaponit/) (they ano'd AGD's faded Emags awhile back), and PK Selective (http://pkselective.com/)(which does the X-mag anodizing).

A+ as far as I know does not do the xmags anymore and AGD only used them for a few small jobs
