Alright guys im doing a science project on diffrent velocitys of small medium and large bore paintballs. So i need a list of small, medium, and large paintballs.

I also need some reasons why they make diffrent size paintballs.I need also how they make paintballs, and a lil hostory how is was invented.

P.s. My science teacher sucks she doesn't explain anything very well and grades horribly;help is greatly appreciated.

Dude my teacher is the same way. It sucks arse. Im barely even passing and I get no help or even suggestions, or even an explination of a science project, and this is my first time doing it. My teacher should still be in collage and she is retarded. She copies all her tests from the other teacher and gives them to us (but she changes the font to comic sans which can get annoying to read) no one in our class likes her either.
I dont know how accurate these are, but here you go.

Oh, the irony...

Getting back on topic:

http://www.rps-paintball.com/products/process.asp

I recently downloaded an .mpg that was about the manufacturing process, taken from the Discovery Channel (or offshoot of it). I tried to find the site from which I downloaded it, but couldn't. If you have a way for me to trasfer 48 megs to you, I'll send it.

Here are some links that might help.

http://www.paint-ball.org/paintball/paintballs.htm

http://www.capplustech.com/softgel.htm

The second 1 goes into alot of detail on the creation process. First 1 would just help in an introduction. Hope it helps. Let me know how it turns out.

Well im technicaly doing the experiment part im shooting the diffrent types of paintballs over my chrono and see what velocity they travel at and differ.

What dont u wanna be in my science project?

....and you missed what was actually meant by irony.... it's COLLEGE not collage, hence the irony that you called her stupid and mispelled it in the process. Just helping you out with that before they rip into you more (though I did find it funny myself).

Try warpig.com, you might find some resources there, maybe an article or two about bore size benefits and weaknesses. Hope that helps. But the info is out there, alot of it is physics really. But remember: a ball fired at 300fps will have the same velocity regardless of how big it is (the 300 IS the velocity). And gravity is a steady acceleration of 9m/s I THINK (it's been a while for me, so look it up to be sure) for both as size won't play a role in that. It's when factors such as wind and air resistance come into play that it changes due to size as a larger surface area would be pushed against more, so I presume that is your focus... Also note a heavier object requires more force to put in motion than a lighter one...

The rest is up to you, unless you want me to type your report and in return you can train end users and configure software systems for me. And I am kidding, best of luck with the report.
