Can anyone post pics of their paintball gun (preferable a mag) getting the shortest set up with barrel, [with out a tank] i just wanna see whats the smallest and shortest gun for the tightest setup
And i was also wondering whats this mini warp? does any one have pictures of it?

Smallest I was able to achieve was a 14" *from tip of barrel to end of valve* using a minimag w/ a 8" SP venturi barrel. I have to do some searching to see if I still have any pics or not.

that wouldnt work. you need at least 6 inches i think in order for the ball to be able to excelerate to 300 fps

You just end up smacking the paintball real hard with a shorter barrel. Optimum efficiency is about 8-10", but the barrel could be 2" long.. you'd just need a lot of air to get the ball going before it ran out of barrel length (and your chance of breakage goes up the harder you hit the ball)

that top one looks dumb. this one is realistically a pretty cool looking shorty mag. I like the cradle but I dont know who made it. The barrels a venturi.

Not mine, but I think this is the smallest:

eventually I'll get the money to get one of these and I'll toss a warp on it.

That ring-cradle originally went to the old-old-old Paintball Mania FW134 tanks. They were huge flat-bottomed bottles, and as the name suggests, was a 134-ci tank.

It was about as tall as, and a little fatter than, a 2-liter soda bottle. And about as heavy as a section of railroad track... if you forgot to remove the locomotive first.

I've made a few rings for other tanks over the years, some guys like them because they're a simple way to get a fat bottle up close and tight, and they are very strong (for those that have bent standard drop-forwards when sliding into bunkers, etc.)

Heres my old setup up, it was pretty tiny, I believe 18 inches from the back of the bottle to the tip pf the barrel.

Now I have an X-Valve and Palmers 10inch barrel on it, plus a slighty shorter drop, still tiny, but not AS tiny :D

Wow Doc, thats cool that you can make those. I liked it when I was browsing the old threads and found the pic. I thought it would be kinda cool to have one of those and then a nice angled stock fitted in between the cradle and the grip frame. Maybe one day.

Hey, I'd like to enter this contest. Granted, it isn't complete yet, but I'm working on it (I need a new detent, and a couple of screws to hold the grips on).

Hmm this was taken from the coolest looking minimag thread http://129.21.144.201/~doron/pics/DCP_0415.JPG the gun on the right ... are my eyes decieving me... or is the picture way out of porportion cause that warp looks like a mini warp Oh Gosh i dont know any more, it could be just the camera angle but it would be cool if the warp could be smaller in size :D

EDIT: These Are Hostage's Mags thier awesome

Would you believe I've seen a ring mount BENT. it was holding one of the 122ci carbon tanks. when carbon tanks were cool :-)

What do you mean when they were cool?

Just take the turtle and reverse the front block and that would be damn short.

Hmm, do you mean like if someone had a Turtle-Cocker body with the Typhocker mods that you had done to your 'Cocker?

Meph

Hmmmmm, I dunno. That Nanococker seems pretty large compared to what I have!

Mwahaha.

Now if I wasn't too lazy, I'd finish the project and post pictures. But needless to say, it blows all these outta da water for tiniest.

Funny thing is that a Turtle cocker is too small for me. I'm a back player and that thing would be uncomfortable for me to post with.

DUUUDE! Many years ago, I had the same Minimag setup: a polished mainbody with purple AGD body rail, sight rail, and ASA! I had a purple shorty barrel to match it, too!

I've never before seen anyone else with one of those! I wonder how many they made.
