.. Then the E-mag on/off

I lost my E-mag on/off .. so I gotta get a new one.. but it's 7 dollars more then retro. Considering I have $1,200 bucks to pay off, every penny counts now. As far as I am know.. isn't the pin lenght only difference? So how does that end up costing me 7 bucks? Could I buy the retro and cut it down?

(Sorry if this might belong in tech)

I believe it comes with a quad oring too...these cost more.

They should work for free! :)

I think I might have an extra quad oring in my parts kit. So if I did, could I get away with cutting the pin down? I'm cheap.
Thanks for your help.

cutting/grinding of on/off pins in not recommended at all. Just get the right size...or a collection of them for that matter...;)
