how can they show the SE of ROTK?
theatrical release of the other two have always been non SE, then they are released, then they release the SE

I too would love to go. But I don't think I could spend 12+ hours in a movie theater

What they are doing is during one weekend before RotK they are showing the FotR:SE ... the next weekend is TTT:SE ... and the 16th(only) is the first two:SE, and then the third movie.

Given that it starts at 1430, I am going to assume that there will be at least a one hour break in-between movies since they cant show RotK before 1201 on the 17th.

Yea, I might do it for kicks if my theatre does it and if I can find people to go with, it'll be one long and painful day for the arese, sitting on those uncomfy theatre chairs. :)

I'll probably end up seeing the ROTK a few nights after release.

Well at 0940 today the one theater in my area has already sold out ... online anyway.

Box Office opens at 1200 ... wonder if they reserved tickets for sale there or if they sold them all online.

I think I'd die of boredom if I had to sit through all that.

Cap -- check with the box office of the theater also ... I have heard that allot of places are only selling a certain percent of the their tickets online. So you may be able to get some at the box office also :)
