Do you have to file a slot in the tray to route the eye wires to the board like the unmilled viks or did JMJ take care of that for you already.

Mine should be in next Wednesday, same as yours, only without the 30 degree striping.

They already mill out a hole for the wires, its really nice how they do it. No need to do any notching, you will see it.

Absolutely beautiful Viking, congrats, I really wish I had one.

Since you own one, just a quick question or two I've been dying to ask: what exactly is in the 2nd tube (the valve, hammer, ram, and such is in the first if I'm correct but I have no idea what the second is for. And is the tornado valve the same one AKA uses in merlins? If so that's pretty sick, I like that valve.

Again, impressive marker there, AKA produces some sick stuff.

So, does it really feel a half pound lighter than a normal one?:D

the lpr is in the second (left) chamber. And it uses the same tornado valve.

yes, it does... I went over my friend's house today to show him the feather, he has a regular unmilled vike. There is a very big noticable difference. You will see how much they milled, it looked like they raped it as much as possible. How they did the eyes was awesome, it looks very nice and clean. Overall, im real impressed.

oh, so one side runs the ram and the other side runs the air, yes? Ingenious, AKA are one of the most innovative companies out there, they have taken cockers and open bolt electros to a new level.

Yeah, the other frothblade we saw had problems with the threading too. You'd hope for more with a $40 trigger, but I sure liked the way it felt. I'll need to be getting one.

The only things that I see missing are the SCM (totally optional, stock LPR is fine) and the CCM feedneck (REALLY a great upgrade).

Welcome to the Viking family. You will not regret your decision, i guarantee it. BTW, does that gun come with the type 3 anno?

EDIT: What do you think of the hammerhead?

Good thing I didnt pay full price for it then eh? hehe This is my second viking, my last one was pre-was so this is my first viking with the equalizer and eyes. If I dont get any shootdown, I dont think I'll get the scm. Im thinking about gettin a ccm feedneck too. Yes, its type 3 anno and its a pain in the arse to get a picture of the real color. My hammerhead has been great so far. My unimount should come in soon also.

www.jmjconcepts.com Their site is down atm, but they were saying it should be up soon. I think they made a new one or something.

Type 3 anno is whats on the gun, its basically a real hard anno that the military uses. It doesnt scratch or anything.... Its the most durable anno you can get.

You can get one in any kindof anno you like, you just gotta wait longer and pay more $$$. I was gonna get a gloss fade but didnt wanna wait longer.

Nice viking!;)

Did you get to try out the hammerhead barrel yet? If not let me know how it is. I've been trying to decide if I should get that or a J&J edge kit.
