there was a pic of it on a site that my friend sent me... it really doesnt even look like a matrix anymore... more like a cyborg glob of melted and anodized aluminum with some odd geometric objects prodruding from it

1400 is that the retail price tag or the show price? was it even for sale at the cup?

I know the actual retail is $1399.95. I had that confirmed to me by Dye...as for a show price...$1250 sticks in my head for some reason..but I can't exactly remember what I was told..

I think it's funny that they have it hooked to the rack with a lanyard, that has a clip that disconnects!!! I hope they didn't use that lanyard as a saftey tool so it dosent get stolen. :p

Honestly, the looks didnt take long to grow on me. Like most things, its the function that concerns me. If it proves to be a solid gun, I'm probably going to pick one up. Gloss Black to Gun metal... Ouch!

i would have to say i think the new look is well ... a great new look .. lol .. i think the old matrix was a lil too plain and need something done to it ... now it is just flat out cool in my opinion ...

That feedtube HAS to go, it looks horrible. I mean seriously all that time spend on milling, and then it looks like an after thought that they threw that thing on there.

Other than that, that gun is HOT. Almost as sexy as my X-Mag.

You would hope its removeable. With that in mind maybe they figured most people would swap it out anyway. But then there's the whole stock part on a $1400 gun arguement.

Ya I would hope that too, but with that big hump in front, I don't know if you could even put a lowrise tube on there???

it is fugly. i really hate it. i love the old ones i think they look so much cooler and more compact. that thing looks like a matrix, timmy, globby thing all put together. yikes i don't like it one bit. my opinion could be changed if i ever get a chance to use it to see how it performs. also that trigger looks like one of those crappy BE or VL triggers on their electronic guns.
