reffed a tourney today and the 03 shocker this one guy had broke more paint then it shot.

i have seen tons of these broke or leaking air

buddie of mine bought one and it leaked straight from the factory, and had to send it back.

your better off to wait till they get all the bugs worked out of em

Jesus, with spelling and punctuation like that, I hope you don't mean the american army.

Well I have mine sn # 1523, and it has no problems whatsoever from 4500 rounds, no leaks, no breaks/chops at all. The vision works great, and I like the gun alot.

I a 2K3 Shocker for a couple of weeks (bought it used :) ). Performance wasn't stellar--broke a lot of paint (this was pre-vision), had awful first shot drop off, and it had too much kick for my tastes.

One big drawback, at least to me, is the amount of maintenance required. Smart Parts recommends replacing two of the o-rings every 8,000-10,000 rounds, and fully lubing the bolt after every 2,000.

no, the nerve is not out yet. Heck, it probably won't even reach the All-As for another couple of months, much less the buying public.

Regarding the shocker though? I like it. I like it enough that I plan to buy one in the next few months.
