How many masks is too many masks?

How many masks is too many masks? What do you do with the old ones?

I have a Flex-7 and a V-Force Shield. I plan on getting a Profiler, which look very neat.

The Flex-7 lacks a lens, so with the new Profiler I would also have a fully functional backup mask.

Do you guys have backup masks, piles of old JT Whippers, or sell them off?

I got 2 JT ones I keep for backup and/or if a friend wants to play. Nice to have extras because they always break when you dont want them too.

i dont have any back-up masks :( even my primary mask isnt functional, i need a profiler

i have a backup 4 year old flex7, no foam, probably some cracks in lense, i use it when i'm know i'm going out to get lit up :) like shatnerball i took a flag and just ran halfway up the field at the final battle and just got lit up :)

I have three of the BE version of the morph.

One is my play mask, one is my photography/ref mask, and one is a backup/loaner mask.

I'm debating about picking up the new JT full head mask just to see how it feels.

HAHA, hey its either that or I have some old jt whipper masks in a box somewhere, and I think i'd rather have the flex :) I had paint inside my mask i got shot so much during that moment at shatnerball :)

I have a JT Airstream mask with no lense sitting on a shelf in my room, and a V-Force Morph in my gearbag. My old V-Force Shield belongs to a friend now. Come Christmas, I hope to own a Profiler.

I have 3 cheap JT masks from Wal-Mart, a JT X-Fire, Flex 7 and finally a Proteus. Is that excessive?

I have wittled down my collection of masks. But as of now I have 3... 2 Scott stalker maks and a Invision.... and I intend on getting a profiler when they get released on the open market.

I have 4 JT masks. I take them to the field with me every time. Never know when a loaner will be needed by someone.

You cann't have too many masks. I have seven good ones and four that need new lenses.

I keep two in good shape and my kid has two. We have indeed had a day when we had to go to the back up from a leaking thermal lense. A back up is always a good idea.

He has a JT (the good one but non flex one forget what that one is called) and a Proteus.

I had a PMI non-thermal POS when I first started playing, then I got a Spectra, then I forgot my mask one day when we went to play, so I bought a Flex 7, and then at IAO I bought a Morph.

I don't plan on selling any though because I have a pile of guns and stuff so I like having enough stuff to equip a bunch of people.

I use my JT nVader the most. It fits my head perfectly. I have a flex7, but it hurt my head for some reason, so it's a backup. There's another JT mask around here in a box (not sure what kind) that doesn't have a lense. There's also another one of those cheap $15 masks that's actually not too bad.

1 Vforce sheild, I won at NJAO3

They all serve a purpose at point or another, they all get worn.

Need to get a strap for the Shield, so it can be a loaner/backup mask

Black V-Force
Olive green Scott Stalker
Black X-Fire

I keep the tinted lense in the Flex-7 and the clear in the Spectra, that way I just switch masks instead of trying to change lenses, since JT makes it such a pain in the arse.

The others are for use when I loan out equipment to my friends.

Two mask should be fine. I only have one (JT) and it has a crack in the middle, but I'm don't want to get another mask.

I have my JT Green/gold chameleon Proteus II in my gear bag (no visor: no fogging problems. but I now see how useful the visor was for blocking sunlight: very) and my old mask, which was a cheap JT Alpha I got from walmart 2 years go. the lens just recently cracked due to forces it underwent shipping from home to college. so, new lens needed for it if I ever bother to take it out again (probably won't since I love my proteus far too much).

ill have 2 proteus's. A black one with a chrome lens, and a blue one with a clear lens. (i say will have, as i only have the black one with a clear in it right now)


its cool to have more than one, so you dont have to change lenses.

i have my proteus 2 with 2 lenses( mirrored and clear) and an old school vents i found in my bros room when he left for school that he picked up when he bought his mag, but i just quit for a while so if anyones interested in either let me know.
