Anybody else ready for snow season...I'm going to start snowboarding again after being away for three years. i can't wait..other than the fact that my knees are still all jacked up from my last trip...that's the reason why I had to stop...I just picked up a new board..some boots and bindings and i am ready to go...

Ive been snowboarding a few times, and I really like it. Now that i'm in college about an hour away from many differant mountains I plan on really getting into it.
I get to take snowboarding classes through my school. We get $600 season tickets for $150, rental gear for the year for $80, oh and that $150 for tickets includes unlimited lessons.
My father bought me some snowboard stuff, but he got it off ebay, and its all pretty old, so i'm looking around at buying some used stuff.

I cant wait to snowboard, I'm starting to get that "I gotta snowboard or I'm going to flip" twitch I get every fall. I was just playing around with my set up yesterday, adjusting the bindings and whatnot. I can't wait.

Oh yeah! I'm psyched!! I'm waiting on my application for our local ski mountain so I can work over winter break. That means I work like, 2 days a week and get a seasons pass. Not only am I psyched for snowboarding, I'm also ready for some snowmachining.

I can't wait to go skiing; last christmas I got new salomon ten eighties and the matching boots and bindings. I'm also planning on going out to colorado or somewhere else out in the midwest to go skiing with some friends from college, which should be fun.

I don't have to get ready. Albuquerque is one sorry ***ed imitation of a desert. It might snow in the morning, but it is normally gone by late afternoon.

Your selling a board? What do you have?

The trick is to make the snow work for you :)
Go do driveways for $25-$50 each, you have 2 groups get about one driveway each every half hour and your making some good money. Then there is snowboarding, skiing, sleding, snowblower fights, snowmobiling, large empty parking lots and rear wheel drive, and snow paintbal :)

I don't even know what kind of board it is. My bro-in-law asked me to try and sell it for him. He lives in DE. Not too much snow there, or hills for that matter. I'll look. I know he wanted like a $100. He only used it once or twice.

Can't freaking wait to go boarding this year, gonna be awesome up in NH/VT. My friend just got a house like 2 min from Mt snow and kinda close to Okemo. Finally got a new board at the end of last season, before that i was riding a damn 138 :) got me a 156. I'll miss how easy those spins were with the 138 though.. :(

MMmmmmm snow... just took down the long board and waxed and am shopping for another shorter board. (around a 160 or so if anyone has one)

Arapahoe Basin and Copper mountain opened here in colorado, with Breck, keystone and vail not too far behind.

Mmmm season pass goodness will arrive on friday.....:D

I gave up paintball for a few years so I could afford to do more riding. I'll get crucified for that on here, but snowboarding is and always will be my first love. 9 years!!! I spend so damned much money on that sport it's crazy, I take two $500 trips a year, usually drop $500 for new gear every season(I ride hard & often!) and shell out another $400 for a pass, so it's easy to see how I can't afford a $1200 gun and $60 cases of paint every weekend. That, and i have way more friends that ride than friends that play paintball.

Yeah...I actually passed on a used Jeenyus "Rental" 161 instead picked up an 03 Salomon 161 that was a little wider and $100 cheaper...out here there is no such thing as a long board...all my friends thinking I'm riding the big gun..ahhahhaha...nothing compared to the 153 i used to ride before i messed up my knee..

Yeah, I just call it that cause it's a 185 and I'm 5'6". But hey it was like $80 brand new and I can fly on it, just can't pull many tricks.
