Anyone used teh armotech line?

im looking at getting a scenario gun i like the mp5 model but the m4 model calls to me because i had one in the army, what is the gun is it a glorified spyder in pretty case? whats up??

heh no its not a glorfied spyder, my friend has one, their their own class of gun, what i mean by class is like the spyder/spyder clone classes, trix, impy and all of the others, its a nice gun, pretty easy to clean a chop (or easier than a custom 98)

as a side note what is the company/website that makes the "mag powered" scenario guns that were shown at the shatner game this year. i saw a pic of them in the gallery here at ao, but missed who makes them. they were the most realistic looking scenari guns ive seen yet.

on the armotech a friend just got a zeus. for relatively cheap gun it was fairly well engineered and constructed, plus the list of extra parts and bits that came with it was impressive. the modularity was outstanding. in seconds you can go from 10 rnd tube feed and 12 gram to long barrel, bottom line co2, and hopper feed.

From what i have seen on the field i play and reff on, they are a bit of a fuss to mess with. If you are getting a "lifelike" paintball gun make sure the base gun is a tippman. Some, if not most of the Armotech lifelike guns are stacktube clones. Furthermore, they are a big hassle to clean, and not really field stripable, way to many screws to remove. Most of the fitements on em are plastic, the cheap kind, not the polymer found in Glocks or what have you. Good luck.

An Armotec Gun is a Bruizer with realistic parts strapped on it. As for reliability it is as reliable as a spyder. Thats all a bruizer is, a spyder clone. But after saying this, i've seen only 1 up close and it shot really well and seemed to be very easy to take apart....like a spyder. Plus the feel of the gun was very balanced and it had a good feel to it. All in all i'd give it 2 thumbs up.. A good gun for a very high price...the only downfall.

built off a tippmann A5, you never have to worry a/b reliability, and if you want to go really military, buy an e-grip and a quick cap(limits you to 30 rounds, like a real magazine)

Thats reliability, speed(cyclone feed), and one scary lookin gun.

Stay away from WG-75 line (mp5s) I heard alot of complaining about those, but if you want to go ballistic on the 65 go ahead!

But here's a scoop, new improved models will come out in january and they use clips! :p that's why I'm waiting until then to buy one...

We have a guy in our group that has one, and I have been VERY underwhelmed by his. When things break down, they do it badly. He chopped a ball in the 2nd or 3rd outing, and the thing has not been the same since. It is a real bear to strip, too. He really screwed up the looks one some cowling, trying to get apart a month or so ago. I would recommmend against them. Another problem, their markers are HEAVY. Ugh. Really heavy.

the mag powered mp5's and such are made by
----> www.tacticalpaintballgear.com <----- and if you already have a mag and sendit to him it knocks a lot off i was asking about the A4 and he said it would be about $500 to do the conversion to my mag the same price as the armotech but with mag goodness and a functioning clip and metal body.
also for those of you with tool skills the bodys are mettal airsoft bodys so you can do it your self with some minor trigger mods, im planing on doing this my self ordered the first half of the body kit and have started planing how to build the trigger.

and for some thing completely unique .40 or .43 cal hong kong made pb guns the RAM the .40 cal is the same as blowgun paint so you could reload that and save on paint
