hey guys..
i have a 68 classic. i have a cocker threaded stiffi barrel, benchy trigger(long and sloppy baby!) cp rail and asa, omega foregrip. im thinking about just getting a ule body for my barrel and a lvl 10. and keepin it like that, then use that as my back up. i was thinking about getting a viking or matrix or something along those lines as my main gun. what should i do?

If you absolutely must use a gun with Cocker threads, here's what I recommend:

Viking
Any Matrix with the basics (LPR + Bolt Kit)
ULE E-Mag

reccomended in order of bestness and/or coolestness (yes I meant to spell that way)

-Destructive Viking
-Immortal Viking
-JMJ Featherlight Viking
-JMJ Crusader Viking
--------other good choices----------
-Full Mill Excalibur
-JMJ Featherlight Excalibur
-JMJ Crusader Excalibur
-Splaat Streamline Excalibur

Did I make myself clear?

Oh.. and somewhere below spyder/tippys is an A4 or speed or something..

ULE E-mag or X-mag is a good choice also

elpimpo- I do want an A4 but its a little outa my price range.

Overmind- Those are the markers i have in mind, mostly the matrix and the viking though. sence i already have a mag, i want to try something else.

Ryknow- can u list the sites i can check those out at. i need to know prices/ specs

taken out of my old thread.. should be all the info you need.

Vikings are nice out of the box, period. I would *strongly* reccomend WAS evil eyes and JMJ eye covers. As for as upgrades:
-WAS Evil Eyes
-WAS wicked switch
-JMJ eye covers
-AKA Soda Can Mod (awsome LPR, I have on my excal)
-JMJ Razor trigger
-Froth-blade (custom made trigger, talk to Froth on pbn about it)
-Matrix frame conversion (puddlegum off of pbn does this)
-CCM clamping feedneck, do it, you will love it
barrel

I shoot excal #172 with all was goodies, board|switch|eyes, a SCM, and CCM feedneck, its fast, quiet, and efficient.

Internals:
The internals of a viking are pretty simple.. ram, hammer, valve, etc. Kind of similar to impy internals, but the tornado valve blows any impy valve out of the water.

Speed:
they make WAS board timmys look slow.

Efficiency:
2000+ off of a 68/45 after broken in gun

Pros and Cons
+Efficient as hell
+Fast.. very fast
+Simple contruction
+easy lubing, 3 drops of oil in asa after each day of use
-10,000 shot break in period (let all you friends shoot it )
-Heavy, depending on milling style
-Have to have toolkit to adjust lpr or scm

Also, there are several custom vikings to look into, here they are
gun (company) price
-Streamline/lite (Splatt) hard to find, but not cheap
-JMJ Featherlight (JMJ) JMJ's site is down.. not sure
-JMJ Crusader (JMJ) same as above www.jmjconcepts.com website up now
-Immortal (On Target Entertainment) 1150 stock| 1200 loaded www.ontargetentertainment.com
-PBXtreme (PBX) VERY HARD TO FIND and close to 1200
-Destructive Custom (Destructive Customs) 1000 - like strange impy mill must pm magmonkey to get one
-AKA 1/2, full, non (AKA) 850+ www.akalmp.com
-Highlander - mystery to me...
-Bonebrake - coming out soon, supposed to be lighter and have better internals

And, if you prefer closed bolt quietness and smoothness you can pick up an Excal, it will cost you though.

Hope this helps,
Tyler
