to get the $100 discount they said that you must turn in your orignial complete valve. i bought a used mag and it brought a ANS bolt. would they still accept this valve even though its not an AGD bolt?

Yes. And if I remember correctly, they will take just about ANY valve w/ bolt.

CALL them first to confirm.

You don't have to send in your bolt, or the on/off, just the 2 valve halves.

Doesn't it say on there warrenty page that if you have an aftermarket reg back they will contact you about the go retro program?

it was pointing out that if they were taking valves without factory reg backs in the go retro program then they are probably also doing so with teh x-valve trade in, and if they are accepting reg backs they are almost certainly taking aftermarket bolts

Thats what I just went over, I believe they will. Let me get you the quote from the old go retro program (it may have changed so of course you will want to call first).

From the AGD warrenty page
We will not perform any type of service on a marker which has no serial number. We will not perform any type of service on a marker if the serial numbers on the valve body and the regulator body of the valve assembly do not match. We will contact you to offer the Valve Exchange program or the Go Retro program.
