sitting in the bed this AM,i got the crazy idea of changing my PF body into a Warp body or a Offset Vert feed..i just thought i might throw this out in the blue for some opionions and thoughts..Let me know
What exactly are you thinking about doing? I actually just finished a custom feed system earlier this week; I just haven't had a chance to test it yet. I'll be offering my services soon. ;)
No one has done it yet, I’ve had plans to do it for longer than I care to admit. :p

picture a Powerfeed body without the screw holes or the sear holes..and make it so the feed tube is straight up and down, and stick a parabolic feed plug in the bottom, and get a vert elbow for the top,and stick a loader on it,so its like an offset vert feed,or you could do the oppisite and make it into a warp body,by doing the same, just placing the holes in a differnt spot
I have approached it a tad bit differently, if you can wait. :D

or you could cut off the high rise part to make it a warp and feed it up and put the pf plug on top
Yes, you can do that. Just make you get the length correct so the feed plug works right.

but i want a 1 off body...so far today with the welding gun,ive patched up the underside of the body,so that there is no sear holes, now i just have to bust out the drill press and CnC machine to replace the holes in the correct area
hummm, sounds like a lot of work. ;)
Oh yea, are you using stainless wire to weld up the body? It will rust if you don’t……

Indeed it is SS,got it from one of my dads old interior pieces from his semi...
Sounds like you welded a peace of stainless on the body, but is the WELD stainless, if it’s not, the weld its self will rust.
What kind of welder are you using?
