View Full Version : Hopper-right swap

I recently picked up a used classic automag, but unfortunately, it has a standard hopper left. I'm left handed so, this doesn't work very well for either my profile or peaking around corners. A friend mentioned someway of trading AGD (for a small fee of course) for a standard hopper-right. Is this true? I could always go to a vertical feed body or get a new hopper-right body, but, both are fairly expensive options.

Your best bet is to check the buy/sell forums or Ebay for used bodies. You can sometimes find one fairly cheaply (heck, I got a warp body for my 'mag on Ebay for $25).

It's mostly preferance, but the ULE aluminum bodies are really nice. You could save up a bit more money and just get one of them. There half the weight of the standard bodies, center feed, you can annodize them, and in my opinion they look much better.

i don't want a get a ule body because i don't wanna get new barrel and i need the ss body because it more durable then aluminum:D

I can understand not wanting to get a new barrel, but remember...with durability comes weight. Thos bodies are really heavy. I suppose it didn't help that I used a 12" Dye stainless either...:p

Duct tape a 2.5lb plate to your gun for every other game. Then every other game you will have the lightest gun on the field.
