I'm pretty damn sure it just takes alot of force to get it out. Howmuch I don'tknow, and how to do it witohut bending or breaking your rail (which you actually can do) I dont really know.

People have broken there rail in half before so be careful.

take your trigger frame off, and im pretty sure on the bottom of your rail, theres a little allen screw, i think you just unscrew that and it pops out- that's what I did.

Really? I thought that that got the thing in the middle of it out, now the whole piece.

you only need to get the middle part out- the outer part stays in

Damnit! I thought you were trying to get the whole thing out. Did you try unscrewing it yet?

I tried unscrewing the out the bottom piece and yes the spring and piston come out put the brass body stays in place, only problem is it sticks up a 1/16th raising the ule up a little..i took pryo's advice and tried pushing it out..it turns out to be soft metal(copper) so its smashed flat on the rail now...i thinks its screwed up,,,but the ule sits flat on the rail now.

Which way did you try pressing it out?

It comes out easily if you turn the rail upside down and whack it.

If you flattened it against the inside of the rail, then you were pressing it the wrong way. It comes out the top of the rail. Place the rail upside down straddling a couple of blocks of wood. The bottom of the twist lock assembly will be sticking high out of the rail. Hit the bottom of the assembly with the hammer. It should force the assembly out the top of the rail between the blocks of wood.
