Just though some of you would like to see a little project I am working on.

I am not through with it yet, but this gives you a good idea of how it will look.

Yes. The stand. I also did the grips, but I thought the stand would be the part folks would like to see.

That is actually my goal. The stand should help showcase the marker, and add to it, but not be the main focal point. I will be making paintball clocks and wall-art very similar to this later on, and THEN the object will be the main focal point.

That is really funny. I am at the liberary right now and was just looking at the woodworkers' guild display downstairs. But I think it looks good though. By the way, what kind of wood is it? :D

Thank you. It is Oak and Birch…with a colonial walnut stain.

As you can see, in the other pictures the grips look black, but under very bright light the browns really come out. I have it sitting on my mantle at this very moment, and they look black there as well. Nice wood… Macassar Ebony. It works great with the marker.
