but i gotta question the description..."aircraft quality plastic construction" . thats an oxymoron at the best.

and a timer that fits inside the invision goggles? waaay cool.

They are brand new, and can be found in the new Dye catalog.

i think those are designed to fit on their new "Proto" line of masks, not the invisions.

thats kinda scaring me. i hope its the same plastic used for the fold down trays and not that TWA is cutting its buget and making plastic planes:(

also where exactly does the timer go. it seems kinda hard to put in a mask beacause it will either get in your line of site or be out of your site but be difficult to see clearly:rolleyes:

Why is the fact that they are plastic scare some of you? It's not like they're going to make them out of metal.

Last I checked the JT fans have been made of plastic for some time and I haven't had any problems with mine. Even after direct hits.

your all missing the joke. "aircraft grade plastic". ive heard of aircraft grade aluminum...ive never heard it said about plastic. ie: obvious attempt to say its strong...yet still plastic. sorta like saying mil spec paper mache...its still paper mache!

The Proto and Dye fans and timers are EXACTLY the same except they have different logos printed on them, the timers fit between the ear piece and goggle frame.

Could you put the timer on one side , and the fan on the other?

The timer goes in by the ear, and the fan is in the front.
