View Full Version : Bored at work with Photoshop...

Whats up kids? Ive been VERY bored at work lately, so I installed photoshop 7.0. I am not very familiar with the program anymore (havnt touched it in 2 years). So there are alot of things that I dont know/remember. Just want some cool tips on how to make visual effects. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

The first one looks like a frog, a bat, and a guy in a tophat in the middle :)

Heres a little tutorial i whipped up, enjoy:

500x500 pixels
Start by using the rectangular marque and making different colored rectangles

Fill up the whole space, keep it in one layer

Go to filters/distort/polar coordinates

Create a new layer and make that layer all one color

Use Filters/Noise/Add Noise and make sure it is on uniform and monochromatic

Go to Render/Lighting Effects

For light type do Omni

Now change the opacity until the look suits you

Lastly add some text and another layer on top and you've got a shibby quality image
