I was wondering the easiest way to slow down the speed of my x-valve. I have not been able to see how fast its going but I know that I will need to slow it down to play with it. How faster are they suppose to go exactly?

What do you mean? Does it go full auto on you? Is this an emag or a what? Need a little more info.

I am using a minimag and yes, it is going full auto mode.

Do you have the old sear in there, perhaps it's worn and causing runaway? What input pressure are you running? I have a standard offer to people who are having trouble w/ there X-Valves, send it to me and I'll send you a good ole fashion Classic valve, no more full auto problems!:)

Also the input pressure greatly speeds up or slows down the ease of rapidfire. If you have an adjustable tank, turn down your input pressure into the valve (I can get as low as about 630psi). That will take off almost all the bounce of the RT valving and should help out.

Ok, it realy feels like the bolt is just not catching. The guns just flys. If I tap the trigger, it atleast shoots 3 times. Its shooting 280.

L 10:
1 shim
smallest spring
1.5 carrier

I have tried many combos with all the springs and each spring gets the same result. I might just send my gun it to get looked at. I took it to some people at my paintball place and they had no clue what was going on. I just want it fix:( !

Perhaps you are using the wrong size on/off pin. That will give you a full/auto feel if it's too short.

What type of rail is it installed on? Sounds like it could be a sear or On/off pin length issue.

that is kind of odd though, can my x-valve come with the wrong size on/off pin. If so, what size do you think I should order for my minimag. At this point I am desperate. I have had this gun for 2 weeks and have not played with it yet. The sear is in perfect condition. If you could gimme some lengths. I will order right away.:D

it should have come with a .750 on/off pin. measure it an make sure it didn't get shipped with the wrong one, or that it didn't get damaged. (I have seen them get the very end snapped off before)

Thank you all for the help. I have parts coming and we will see what happens then.
