OK, I have been tinkering about because I can, and I ave a range of little sigs that *could* be used if you NorCal guys like em. These are not the ONLY choices but they are sketches of general tangents I can go. These of course are larger than what the sig would be but at least you get a good look.

Biggest request: VOTE

comments and suggestions are also welcome but if ya don't vote, I don't know what you like...

I think its more where you choose to associate. Carmel is hardly northern California.

Having looked at them, I think #1 may work best, if we give it the same gray background that AO uses. It would integrate a bit better. Did you try it with blue hexes instead of the tan? Try putting it up with the matching background, id love to see that.

You are right Ryan. The problem I have is that I could go 2 ways.

1) White background

2) Black Background

I already made a series of good black ones because I like that for my Comp but for a sig it would be nice to have it blend with the AO theme. With that in mind I present to you my first revision of #1 with a white background.

I like #2. With it shaded white and SoCal shaded black, it gives the impression that SoCalers are evil. :D

Argh! No, thats not it ;) I meant EXACTLY like #1, only with blue hexes instead of the brown ones, and a gray background, just like AO, so it blends in seamlessly. But that one is nice. I just preferred the way the hexes circled the state, the way the north and south were deliniated, and the lettering on #1.

I like #7 but I think the state should be outlined so its more easily recognized as calif
