I was looking at the TIVO, and it looks like it will be recording the 2003 SPLATT ATTACK on Sat 3:00pm CST on DirecTv channel 608 (OLN)

its set to record on my tivo too! by the way, does everyone agree that tivo is the coolest thing ever? ive only had it for a week, and i dont see how i ever lived without it.

I agree.. Once you have TIVO, you will NEVER watch tv the same way again. DirectTIVO is by far the greatest piece of electronics I own. And mine is hacked to the gills on top of it.

another question?

Anyone have the tivonet card installed in thier Tivos so these people without Directv can get this too? I want to buy one but I have been a tad bit lazy on the tivo recently. (I still have not installed my chip coolers I bought 3 months ago)

i may have my tivo net installed by then or soon after so i should be able to pull it soon.

Hey, let me get in on the hacks. I havn't ripped mine apart yet, but it's a matter of weeks now that the weather is changing. I'v had the Tivo for about 6 months, but haven't really looked into the hacks.

modifying a TIVO is not illigal or immoral (yet)

you can check out the forums at dealdatabase.com and read away. It will tell you all you need to know

Go to the store and buy one:) Depending on which one you get it will cost ya about $400 for the tivo and then $10 or so a month for service. Tivo's are great and I don't even watch a lot of TV.

Yeah, my friend has Tivo. When I first heard of the idea I thought it wouldnt be all that useful, much like my first impressions of AIM, but just like AIM it proved to be one of the most essential things for anyone to have :) I wish I had one

I am too now there was a conflict with the new p4 cards and the dtivos that sent my testing days into a tailspin.. hell for 5 bucks it is not worth the headachs

LOL! Lamers..... I have had TIVO since the first model and that was three models ago!! I TRIED AND TRIED to tell everyone how great it was but no one could ever figure out why they would want it.

I tell people about my TiVo and they give me a blank look and go "So... it just records TV? Like... a VCR?"

They really have no idea, lol.

Right now I'm watching American Chopper from Monday, I missed, well.. actually I didn't miss it thanks to TiVo :)
