Nice, was it done from scratch or did you have an unmilled x-mag body?

heh...i am going to put a x-valve in it

Also, its kind of hard todo something really different when you only have so much meat, though it will look a bit different after we get done with the theme.

Wow! Awesome body! Thats what im into simple and elegant. If it were up to me it would of been the standard Mag/E-mag body (sans warp breaches). Are ya gonna mass produce those babies? I wouldnt mind shelling out some $ to complement my future emag. Lets get some anno on that lady and share the pics!

sigh, I am never the one with the perverted mind, let me rephrase that. I milled a standard x-mag body into that. We are currently talking to AGDE about getting raw bodies from them and milling them. If we do that, then we can make a few and see how they sell.

Woaw d00d that thing is SWEET with a Z! I'm a huge fan of the Z's and let me tell you they just don't look right on markers anymore cause they are kinda basic and the bodyies are really curvy. But man you nailed it there I love how the lines all stay in the same century!!!! I wish I had that gun!

one word: wow.

how long did the milling job take?

hostage
11-15-2003, 12:51 PM
the actual milling didn't take long at all, a day or two and that was after a full day of work. The designing of the body in mastercam took the longest.

were you using CNC?

hostage
11-15-2003, 04:26 PM
yeah, my friend was. Though for the 15* tails he used a vert mill.

Just annoed yesterday, tomorrow i will post the pics of the complete marker. I need to take a good picture of the superman on top, though the camera likes to focus on everything but that.

very nice. think i could do work like that on an older manual bridgeport vertical mill? :D

hostage
11-18-2003, 11:17 PM
heh we used a bridgeport for the 15* tails, though other than that we used a CNC, it would take a lot of time, and skill to do this w/o the use of a CNC mill.

Looks very nice with the anno. That backwards trigger fram though, its...interesting. :) It doesnt look comfortable, but i bet it really is. Have fun with that.

WOW! I just wet my pants again! That anno is the icing on the cake! Would be pretty sweet wit a matching Emag frame. Please, can we see one with an emag frame, matching or not?

U posted somewhere AGDE arent to keen sellin the raw bodies only? Thats too bad Cause for shure, that body is the hot seller.

Keep up the good work!
Word.
