Paint check board game

Does anyone here have the paint check board game? It is supposed to help strategy and stuff. Is it worth the price ($50) if so, I will ask for it for Xmas

I dont know anything about it, but I saw it has little armymen like figures for it. Forget the board, I'd just set up battles on my desk!!

I have it sitting right here, though I have yet to play it. Which reminds me, maybe I should bring it to AO SC.
