"The Z body was not popular in its initial release, but in recent years there has been renewed interest among Mag owners online..."

Looks like mix up with Z-Grip. Cool article!

Airgun Designs worked on refining their valve and bolt designs for better efficiency, they discovered a problem with the twist lock barrel system. The breech for the paintgun is a part of the barrel, and when players used aftermarket barrels, they would be inserting a breech of a different diameter into the paintgun. This made matching the bolt diameter to the breech next to impossible.

I don't recall this???

It is a SM-1 barrel kit from Sanchez Machine. I've never heard of those before. Does anyone have any info on this?

Sanchez Machine

Wonder why he did not include the ULE rail in the setup listing as well?

but the web page talked of a z body. made by galactic or w/e . they nowhere stated "Z Grip/ frame" so imo i think its most likely hte z body or somehtin

Some want to contact Bill and inform him of that error/misunderstanding about the Zbody?? Also let him know that the link at the bottom of the page that says "On To Part 2" is messed up, it just takes you back to the same page.

Thanks miscue - good catch. Yes, that should have read Z-Grip - as you could see from the context talking about the angles of grip frames. I can edit articles other people have written, all day long, but it's my own mistakes that are the hardest to catch.

As for the barrel - yep, that's an SM1 - keep an eye out for a review of it coming up.

See you on the field,

The warpig article makes it seem like a AGD ULE mag is just around the corner. Do you think they are refering to the Tac one or is AGD going to come out with something to advance the RTPro? Speculations welcome.

Please note that part is pure speculation on my part. Right now, you can't buy an "out of the box" mag with these features. I wouldn't be surprised if AGD releases one with some or all of these components in the future, as many of these are the direction the company seems to be going. I have not been told by anyone at AGD that a ULE Mag is soont to be, or ever to be released as an assembled gun.

See you on the field,
