DUDE! Those are so freakin awesome!!!! this is gonna be the best DVD of real live as it is action I ever saw. Absolutely stunning! I cannot wait! :)

I just watched em again... First of all that start of the hill challenge almost made me crap my pants as much as it did when I was up top reffing it. I mean I WOULD NOT go out and paintcheck anyone for a while. It was like a pink fog going on. And the noise was...well...just freakin scary!

And the clip of Albino is so perfect of him. That dude is the wittiest SOB I ever met. Funny stuff.

This DVD is going to surpass all others I ever saw. I can tell you that.

No seriously this is some of the best "real people playing" I ever saw. And I not just saying that because I was putting it on. This is the real deal. It deserves a good look and your right... I think many people missed if first time through the thread as they were so tired when they got back. This is AO people. And not only that but its real people ANYWHERE getting together to play a fun day. I mean it touches everyone as to how fun it can be. This is real live stuff and it captures the fun we had so well. I just am so impressed with it as a snap shot of what paintball SHOULD be! I think its gonna be a winner. You guys put a lot of work into it and it shows. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Oh Toms interaction with Trina is really classic. Seems Tom is impressed when he gets shot from behind. Remember Load shot him in the but last year and now he is a MOD!!!! LOL! Tom you got some "splainin to do"! :D

adam shannon
11-24-2003, 10:35 PM
i just added 4 more clips.

"check his junk
"tuna"
"naked newt"
"swords vs guns"

there is so much cool stuff i still have for the dvd...dont forget the TAG olympics, why dogs love cockers, and toms strip tease, plus lots of actual paintball games...lol.

magking1971

I am talking to Adam about a package deal on these for those of you that could not come. I might buy some from him to package with a SE AO T shirt and sell them that way. So you people that couldn't make it can sit there in nothing but your AO T shirts and watch the Video and feel like you was there. No pants.... :D It would be a few weeks before we can get that all together.

adam shannon
11-25-2003, 03:08 PM
its a done deal. i will be donating a slew of the dvd's to phil for inclusion in a package deal with the leftover shirts to benefit the clemson PB club...who after all were the benificiaries of the proceedes of the event.

Prolly like 25 sets... maybe only 20 collectors sets of T shirts and DVD combo's. Maybe a pack of Grits in there with it! ;)

Something like that. We gotta count shirts and sizes and Adams gotta get the final cut done. He doing logos for the labels and editing now. I got plenty (maybe 7 or 8 each maybe even 10) of each XL and L shirts and at least a few random all the other sizes. Some also in long sleeve for you Yankee's.

Some of it is blood. Both the XL and the XXL seemed to fit just great, I'm happy with either.

And I didn't just get it covered once, Jon bought me a second one and I got that one covered TOO!

cphilip
11-26-2003, 07:21 AM
I may just have some XXL's left. I checking them today sometime. I let you know. I had some and I might still have one or two in short sleeve at least.

cphilip
11-26-2003, 10:55 AM
Ok this is what I got left in AO Day T shirts to put together this package.

Long Sleeve

4 - Large
3 - XL

Short Sleeve

3 - Medium
8 - Large
10 - XL
3 - XXL

31 total left and we sold 50 (2 messed up and not saleable though) so not bad. Although we had to Comp a few for Celebs and sponsors so it was not all money taken in for those 50. Maybe 40 of them perhaps. We did break even and pay the money for the cost of the raw shirts but I still owe the lady for some of her work but she willing to wait some on it till they all sell. I gave her half her labor already out of the sales.

So soon as I make that back then anything over that is to the team/club. I gotta do some figuring on this and talk to Adam some more. but it looks good so far. Looks like the event can be in the black this year. Its almost dead even now! We picked up the tab for them at dinner with some of the proceeds from this event shirt. It helped pay the bills it seems to me. So its all good. Last year I finished $250 (my pocket!) in the red and did not pay for their dinner. So we improved a lot this year. The T Shirts helped. I will continue that with even more fancy design stuff and sell sponsorships for both sides to offset cost. We would like to sell each shirt sleeve to a sponsor to the point we can almost GIVE them to all the participants next year. It's very possible!

More info later as it comes together.

I went to the makers website(Sony in my case) and usually the info can be found there. If you can't find it, give me the info(maker and model #) and I'll see what I can do.

if your player was made in the last couple years it should be compatible. it should be listed in the manual. theres a list online somewhere, gimme a little while and ill try to find it.

heres a link to a partial list. http://www.apple.com/dvd/compatibility/ the compatibility issue isnt that big an issue if your player was made after 2000. but i felt it was necessary to note the possibility of problems with older players.

some ps2's will take dvd-r...some wont. heres a list i found. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/17001
