alright, i have a BIG descision to make

should i get the AO-SE X-Mag or a Green '04 Immortal Viking?

Thats a tough choice. I love the "shark attack" anno, and I think the X looks better, but the immortal will be considerably lighter, and I firmly believe it will out perform the X. It will also be much more efficient, and have a better warranty.

Thats why Im working on owning both ;)

Immortal gets my vote. X mags rock and all, but immortals are sweet as hell. $20 says ill have my immortal before you get yours sneaky :D

I love the look of the x-mag but I think the Viking will perform better. I haven't seen any custom Vikings that have taken my fancy.

its all very well having a superfast lightweight gun that has "shark ano" or whatever, but if you can't get a ball to come out it due to chops there is no point.

im already getting the viking

as far as chopping, i'm getting the WAS board and eyes with it... and i'm ordering in december, which means i'll be getting the '04 model that has a shorter ram, stock SCM, stock eye milling, and stock WAS (add $ for eyes)



and mango, i'd go for the x-mag but i made up my mind that i truly didnt need two e-mags at the same time :(

i am selling my current viking to pick up an 04 immortal in december. which reminds me, check the markers forum and buy my viking!

you wont be dissappointed with the viking, though, equally, the xmag is a great marker, i prefer the viking over it. AND, you get the same great customer service from AKA that you would get with AGD.

I have used my squeegee as many times with my viking (read Once) as I used it with my LX ULEmag.

You can't go wrong with either, except now that I have had my viking for a few months and it is broken in, I have REALLY REALLY taken a liking to it.

I won't buy another gun. (unless I could find a steal on an 04 Featherlite Excalio)

joey, i'm already read up on the '04... thats why i posed this... i was gonna go for the x-mag but then viking popped up higher on the list... and it was a big descision to make, but 3 hours, 6 cups of iced tea, and 2 peices of pumpkin pie helped me choose what was best last night :rolleyes: :cool:

Actually, the one time I had a ball break, it was the very last ball in my Halo. Lotsa viking owners seem to have a problem with that, so I am not sure if it was a chop, or Halo problem. Since then, I don't let my halo get empty ever, and I haven't had a problem.

W00t, my vote for the Viking evend it out 13/13 :) I would normally say go for the X-Mag, but sneaky, you have a nice Micro-E that performs just as well as an X-Mag, so go with the Viking!!!

The 2k3 immortals weigh in around 3 oz more than a featherlite, putting them at 2lbs, 11 oz. Now that the 04 bodies are already 2lbs 10 oz, I don't think they would be able to shave the same amount (5oz) due to the already smaller bodies. I would guess they are going to weigh in around 2lb 6-7oz. That is pretty light.

I would guess the 04 featherlites will be around 2lb 4oz.

You could have waited for Steelrat to get his X, then he would have a viking and an Xmag and he could tell you the pros and cons about each:) But seriously, you will NOT be dissapointed with the Immortal, or any viking for that matter. But also, IMO I would just get a green halfmilled, with the WAS stuff and all that, cheaper and performs the same. A teensy bit heavier though.

well the 2k4 timmy (getting by xmas) is supposed to be amazingly light, less than 2lbs 2 ounces LESS

I'm not a fan of timmies either. The featherlites are completely off the hook as far as weight goes, and they are damn nice looking too. I think the Immortal has the edge on looks though, and only wieghing in a few ounces heavier for the increased styling has my vote :)

Theres always the 03 shocker option, bugs are worked out, vision is available, and comes with vert maxxy....all for like 750-850$ dependin on where u get it. That leaves mucho money for more x-mas gifts...or paint..or upgrade...etc




plus it has magnetic trigg. sems to be bst of viking and x-mag world.

I've had two '03 Shockers, one vision and one non-vision, both PHENOMENAL guns. The only thing I don't like about the new Shockers is how they are capped at 20bps with the cricket board :( If they made a decent board for it, comparable to a WAS board, that would definately be a gun that I would keep around. They are hellishly fast with the Cricket in them, but they have further potential to be a greater gun. So, until they have a new board for them, I don't think I would buy another. Thats just my opinion and view on them. Great guns though!

i've shot 2 '03 shockers and truly didnt care for them... it was small like a mag and light like a timmy... even more like a toy to me :o

Green and black acid wash. I saw a matrix with it and it was so hott. Defintly the best thing you can do with green.

he deff doesnt want to do that. SP is TOTALLY redesigning the shockers for next year. also i cant wait for my 2k4 (alis) timmy, the gun should be AMAZING. it will be the LIGHTEST electro ever, VERY fast thanks to WAS and all new internals, and also small. and very efficient i think it might just be the next uber gat of the year
