Heavy Mag Competition

Alright, some of the AO's pride themselves in having a nice light marker, but I like mine heavy.

"Heavy is Reliable" (name the movie)

I think I probably have one of the heaviest 'mag setups possible:

Classic RT
Z-grip
Benchmark Offset Drop/Cradle

I'm not taking into account tanks or barrels any, there are too many variables there. Any other heavy (maybe even heavier) setups?

My old setup consisted of...

-PF body
-RT valve
-DYE double trigger frame
-Gadget grip
-SS custom made dropforward(almost 2 lbs)

Without air or a barrle or a hopper, it was pushing 7 lbs

weight truly is a sign of reliability... thats why i keep my SS valve on my e-mag... air inlet threads on the x-valve would be stripped within days! (i change my airline setup constantly :rolleyes: )

notsure how much it all weighs..but its quite a bit...LOL

I figure with a hopper (full of pballs) and a tank (full of compressed air) the actual guns weight becomes irrelevent, they're all going to weigh similar. I don't think the weight difference between any two guns is anything to worry about.

Actually, Warped1's shocker, is my old tourney shocker. (Well, minus the warp feed) I used to play with a Dye SS on that bad boy. Nice weight, virtually no kick (Weight hath it's advantages). With a 32oz fill of CO2 in that bad boy, woooo!

Now my current setup is pretty heavy. Granted, not '98 shocker on Co2 heavy but close. I have no scale handy but...

(68/3000) Oldschool Steel Apocalypse reg with fiber bottle

that tank was one of the heaviest tanks I've ever used. and with a revy on top without in paint in it it weighed almost 10 pounds. I wouldn't even wanna think about what it would weigh with paint in it along with a warp.

You guys dead set on the 6th? B/c I get home (Salem, Va) on the 12th, and I'd like to be at a Va AO meet. now, mind you, my gun is going to be in the shop, but I'll just bring my phantom and have fun trying to kill you suckers while getting lit up :p.

kapp dz2

and go on from there

Not sure of the exact weight but I am running 68 classic fueled by an 88/4500 thats hanging on a Kapp DZ2 with on/off....Warped with a revy......the barrel depends on the day-freak-BOA-DYE crome-Armmason-Or a Ceramic...
I am afraid to know the weight, might get in my head how heavy it is,, :eek:

edit:whoops forgot the 32 degrees crome trigger frame!
