ULE Trouble

How can i tell if the ule in my local shop is one of the old ule's that had the trouble with the ball detent?
The people who work there are totaly numb when it comes to mags.

Thats easy...dont take the chance. Buy one from SOMEONE who has the latest version.;) It really doesnt matter though, you only have to add 1 silly oring on the detent anyway if its the old one.:D
