I am giving my micro E a new anno job for christmas! Shoot, it deserves it, has served me very well. Anyway, I know there are tons of pics out there... but I am in search of...

- pics of Dust or bead blasted anno jobs
- price and place you had the job done

This is of great help as I need to choose a color/scheme!
Thanks

Check out www.sexyturtle.com, they have some pix of the work that they have done. It's actually a quality ano at an outrageously LOW price. I see that you live in VA, they are based out of Manassas if I'm not mistaken. You could always drop by depending on your distance from Manassas to take a look at the operation and some examples.

I live in Haymarket which is about a 10 min. drive to Manassas, I have been considering getting my gun anoed through Sexy Turtle to see how it comes out.

Hope some of this info helps you out a bit!

A word of caution:

In the Micro mags (as well as SFL, and ULE mags) there is a steel ring inside the body used to prevent the main spring from eating away at the aluminium. During the anno proccess, this ring will dissolve away, (perhaps only partially...) and must be either removed pre-anno or replaced post-anno. Its best to check with Pro-team products and AGD for the best means to go about this.

That said, post some pics when you're done!

Yeah I remembered hearing something about that ring, have to give someone a call! Thanks! Still need some pics to decide!!

XPB out of Mobile, AL. They did my SFL recently and it turned out great. They do some fab work and are very reasonable. They have a thread in the Dealer's forum and a link to their site where they have some nice pics. A few people have also posted some of the work they've done in that thread.

I've also seen a dust blue->black fade Emag that (I think) XPB annoed. If it was them, the pic will be on their site.
