Nice marker… and nice TV… owned though? Nah…. Nice though.

(I would have gotten a bigger one than we have in our living room, but we don’t have the space for one larger. So we settled for a 56”, which is quite large enough. ;) My brother-in-law just got a 64” for his place… but funny thing is, that his living room really is too narrow to view it correctly. You CAN get a TV too big for your needs and space. :D Glad you like yours though. TVs are GOOD. :) )

Thx Shartley... It took Comcast 35 days to get out to my place and install digital cable, that was uber-sad. And then to find out that the new Comcast Digi boxes dont have DVI outputs REALLY pissed me off! Almost made me think about going to Satellite instead... I guess colorstream HD will have to do for now until they get a new box out :) 1080i cable would be the bomb diggity... can you say Superbowl party at my house? LOL.

Lataz.

Edit: Oh yeah, my TV reads Sony Memory Sticks :p LOL.

No problem. And I understand about taking so long to get hooked up. Luckily I was one of the first houses to get Comcast Cable back when they FIRST offered it in my neck of the woods about 6 years ago. I love how they say it is “new” now in our area when we got switched back to them…. Comcast, MediaOne, Att Broadband, and back to Comcast. Same billing office, same service, same equipment. You just have to love it.

As for digital cable… I personally think it is overrated. HONESTLY, there is not much difference between the standard channels and the digital ones (except for the music) for most people and their TV and stereo setups. And it takes forever to cycle through channels now. grrrrr

But I still prefer it to satellite simply because I have my internet access bundled in my package.

And with a family my size, we need the big TV… it would take a small fortune to take them all to the movies. LOL And yes, Superbowl parties are great with the bigger TVs. And we have our PS2 hooked up to ours as well! We were just playing some snowboarding game the other day… pretty cool. And the driving games are fantastic on the big screen. But I don’t need to tell you that. ;)

I've noticed that channels... 175-190 or so (the HD channels) are WICKED! I have never seen such an awesome picture before. The first time I saw a show recorded and played back in HD blew me out of my chair, it was like a whole new way of watching TV. I am still amazed by it every time I sit down in front of it and something interesting is playin on an HD channel.

Still thinking about going to Satellite just so I can get some 1080i throught the DVI port...

I sold my Xbox to help fund that TV, so it hasn't gotten any games played on it yet :( but hey, x-mas is coming up! Who knows what I could get :D

Maybe I am just used to it… LOL And if I want HD I rent a DVD. :D I tend to watch the History Channel, SciFi, Nature, and the other “educational” stations. You don’t really need HD for most of those. ;)

I still would like them to make cycling through stations faster though!!! LOL They told me that is their number one complaint.

LOL Some of us NEED a big TV. It is an investment. Like I said, I save money by watching movies at home. And my oldest daughter works as at a Video Store, so it has been over 2 years since I even rented a movie! :D

welll bro now stfu! :D its fixed now, all good. all i had to do was take my drill and just shave away a small bit of the wall that sits in front of the eye. ends up it was just a lil too high for the eye, the top half of the eye is what detects teh ball. and the wall was obstructing part of that, now the eye works perfect, PWNED!!!!!!!!!!! :D
