go with a 12, 14 is good but you realy don't need anything bigger

If you play on an airball field, then a 14inch will help you bend in the bunker a little and have a smaller profile.

I agree. I am a back player, mid at times, but mostly back. I have a 14 for Sup Air fields, and a 10 for none Sup Air. Use the 14 to help Bend the bunkers on a Sup Air field. Everything else, a 10 or 12 would get you by. I play with the barrel as short as I can get it actually. But 10 is about the smallest I will go. To me it is all in personal preference. But running an 18+ is just plain nuts. You cant slide into a bunker and stay behind it when your barrel hangs up there like a flag pole.

10 for front
12-14 for back
16 for big woods
18 if ur crazy
20 if ur retarted

anything less than 10 isnt that good, at least from what ive seen

I use a 8 inch minimag stock barrel. It shoots very good. Works awesome on Sup air.

Ill agree with that. We had a moron that kept trying to tell everyone he could shoot farther and with more accuracy with a longer barrel. So he had a custom barrel made for his shocker. Was a 28" barrel. He had to run so much pressure into the marker to get anything out of it, he blew an oring, or two, at least once a day. Was some funny stuff to see him draging that monster barrel out of the car with a shocker attached to the back of it. The barrel would be a foot or so out of his car when the shocker would start to emerge.

I have an ACI Phat system for reference

I have used just the back (like 5") with some success in the rain (this gets rid of the porting)

I normally use the shortest front - making it like 10"

On airball fields I go up one size to push bunkers.

How so? That wouldn't really give you enough to poke around an airball bunker.

i have an 8 inch barrel, but its only 6.5 inches when screwed in

10-16 is the magic numbers...

16-airball
14-back/mid
12-front/mid
10-front

but then all this depends on the barrel
because of the porting...

It's barely enough, but its able to poke around. I really like it, but as dinger said, it is very loud.
