i was wondering if these java nitrogen tanks are any good. i notice alot of paintball fields use the java co2 tanks, i figure this this is for reliabiltity... either that or they are dirt cheap??? i dont know, anyway is the java 68/45 or 45/45 any good. and how does it compare to the crossfire system. aslo i know this is gonna sound dumb, but what is the difference between 45/30 and a 45/45
and the difference between a 45/45 and a 68/45 thanks.

i dont know much about the java tanks, but i would stick to crossfire. and all those numbers may seem confusing, but basically they tell how big the tank is, and how much pressure is holds..

68ci/3000 = 68 cubic inch tank that holds 3000 psi
47ci/4500 = 47 cubic inch tank that holds 4500 psi.

this should help you out, http://www.geocities.com/divadcom/SHOT_CHART.html

most steel tanks weigh the same, fiber tanks weigh quite a bit lighter than steel.

I had a java tank as a first nitro tank a while back, and it's performance was pretty good, for what the tank cost me. In comparison to my Crossfire tank, it was pretty much on par with it, but was lighter due to its construction.

i have had a java 68ci 3000psi tank and it was a piece of crap, the threadings were in perfect condition, they were not bent or damaged but for some reason it kept ruining my asa's
the 3rd weekend i took it out my asa was leaking from the treads and it was not the o-ring, i looked at the treading of the asa and it was all torn up, it was a shocktech asa and it was almost as new as the tank and also in good condition, i went through 3 asa's (two shock tech and one dye) before realizing that it was the tank, it must have been a defective tank because i sold this to a kid at school and he had the same problemwith his duckbill asa
but the tank did perform well otherwise but i would recomend a nitroduck or crossfire
