Dang. I was browsing the B/S/T forums and was amazed at the number of people trying to liquidate cockers. You can offer up pretty much any kind of gun in any kind of condition and someone has a cocker they want to trade you for it.

It's like an STD: lots of people have them, and nobody wants them.

I'm not knocking cockers. Just amazed at the shear number of the darn things up for trade or sale.

and new ones are so cheap, that it absolutly destroys resale value. I was trying to sell my tricked STO, but with new orracles being $600, i couldnt get anywhere near what i wanted for it. <Sigh> i guess ill just have to become a gun whore.

Lots of people sell them because they either don't know what they're doing or don't have someone that works on their marker that knows what they are doing.

It sucks because cockers can be great guns and lots of people get them because of that but have know idea what's required.

It's like owning a Rotary for those who are in to cars.

which is great until its turbo'ed and is driven in the texas summer..... apex seals are a timebomb... opps back to paintball.

I think the reason you see some many is the simple fact that there are just butt loads of cockers out there. I imagine that most of them are poorly cared for:(

Rotaries run hot....Houston gets HOT...bad combo. No such thing as detonation on a rotary. It pings it pops. End of story.
