Best Deal Ever! (X-Mag)

well i just purchased a used tequila X-mag, XT00107 for $800. looks to be in great shape. and as an added bonus actually came with a warp feed. it was pictured but never mentioned. i thought he was just showing off the warp module. boy was i surprised when i opened the box and saw that sitting on top. came in its orginal box with all the little parts. even the little allen key. i'll post pics as soon as i give it a good thorough cleaning. are there instructions somewhere on disassembly or am i going to have to wing it?

Not till you made me look. But yea thats a tell tale Euro thing. I think Simons has that too. I seen a few of them. the barrel is a tip off too. Note that it is a later one though. ULE grip but yet not the Carved Battery box. So after they ran outa Hump grips at least. Note the Tequila there is more gold than it is yellow too. And to tell you the truth I only seen one Tequila in a US one. And that one had no matching barrel. It was sweet though. I was fondling it at WC year before last.

Both modules and all. Sweet deal for sure.

i don't get it guys. it's a power switch. goes between your power source and the device you're powering. i don't see anything special inside there...

right, but its in a funny spot. And its not wired up like a normal powerswitch, its gotta go through a transistor or something to switch the power without burning out. :-)


its also got a matching anno trigger, another euro sign. they get all the good stuff.

Its just a different way of doing it is all. And people of technical minds always want to know exactly how someone did something different. Its a sickeness. But we always have to take something apart and find out how it works! :D

I can tell ya how the board is set up since i own a euroxmag without a switch.

The board is in the gripframe. Theres a wire that goes under the body all the way to the point where the eye goes looking up. The body is carved in the bottom for the wire. Samething but ace is just in the gripframe i believe and not in body/triggerframe.

it's inside the switch. there's nothing to see. it just goes straight to the solenoid. the switch is a little blue box that says 3A 125VAC on the side. don't see how it's attached. must be some adhesive or epoxy.

Indeed!! That was always me as a kid. I broke so many toys taking them apart. I broke a Koo Koo Clock too cause I wanted to see how the little Rooster came out of the box. LOL

here's that dang switch you're all so fired up to see. :) as you can see. no board. the eye is at the end of a long set of wires. goes along the same way that the power lead does. the switch is just kinda there. interrupting power the way a switch should. the board has no extra parts that i can see. the variable resistor is just sorta dangling off it.

hahaha. y'know i saw the switch and went "neat! never noticed that on anyone else's before." then moved on. but now that everybody's making such a big deal i've been playing with it and turning the damn thing on and off all the time. i'm tired of seeing "AGD 2.21" i think i'm going to have to send this in to tuna to get flashed. 3.2 baby!

btw. i've put over 2000 shots on the counter since last night. :D

*edit* 1 hour later just finished adjusting the trigger. made it a little shorter and a lot lighter. another 3000 shots. i'm going to need a whole lotta paint when i start playing with this thing.

haha thank all your buddies in chat for not telling you. mango told me about it. we initially laughed it off as being absolutely ludicrous and either a scam or stolen. then he found out that the seller was someone reputable and i jumped on it. mango's got the magic touch when it comes to acquiring xmags.
