Well due to the recent mention of a vert e-frame, I am kind of pushed early to announce the working on my vert e-frame. This e-frame is going to be a revoultionary design in the 3rd party e-frames. With my many years of experence with working on e-frames and seeing many of their flaws I decided to create one that fixes those flaws. This idea came up a while back, when RougeFactor convinced me to go with it...Anyway what makes this different than the e-frames that are pretty much clones?

1. Vertical frame.
2. Light microswitch from the start!
3. Trigger with 3 adjustments, this gives you full adjustment
-tinsion (spring)
-travel (trigger stop)
-pull (microswitch)
4. Non-LCD board, who needs it anyway, a waste of memory and power.
5. (Revolutionary)--Very small noid
6. Basic features
-no stupid annoying modes, this is targeted for tourney guys
7.KISS-Keep it simple stupid
8.Compatible with standard grips, ie die stickies

The main revolutionary part of this frame is partly thanks to AGD for coming out the ULT, the ULT will take of 66% of the pull, which means we can use a smaller noid, which uses less power, can fit in the grip better, and will give you an extend battery life. I am also considering making this compatible with other triggers ie timmies. If yall have any other ideas just post here.

Sorry to the dude who mentioned the start of his, he pretty much made me announce mine sooner than I wanted to. :(

Man, this sounds really awsome. I take it it's going to be for the make since you mentioned the ULT. The main question i have is it going to be exclusively for the EMAG or is it going to be for the classics as well? Good Luck, really can't wait to see the results.

This should rock, mabye if its good enough you can sell it to AGD

Edit: I just saw your sig

What about just making a frame that the emag internals could fit in?

logamus.. that sig pic... disturbing...

on the other hand [ahem] would you by anychance have any virtual/digital pics of this thing? i dont mean a finished product, but something like a design in CADD?

oh.. So how are you going to use a noid? I don't get how it'd work with a mag.. Although.. I have never actually worked on a gun that uses a noid lol..

Umm think Hyperframe, booyah frame.... An emag has a "noid"...

The original thing was to get the hyperframe board to fit in the grip and I am not sure if thats still the plan or not.

Don't make it capatable with .45 grips (like DYE Stickys), it'll ruin the whole frame. The way they're angled will make it very awkward to hold, and it will look terrible. If anything, just make it capatable with IR3 grips, which are designed to work with a 90 degree frame.

Well a lot is subject to change, we are not going to rush to put an untested frame out, we want quality and with some of the new additions like a smaller noid to power the sear, we will have to do some tests.

I'd make it compatible with the iR3 grips. I've always liked the space frame.

Also I'm assuming a ULT is required with this frame?

is this going to be for emags or for classics or both? cause im interested in it for a classic, due to that fact that i lack an emag! but its a killer idea either way

hostage

well if you want to put it on an e-mag you can. I made this pretty much for non-e-mags. Though I am also thinking of making one for an e/x-mag

well, since it uses the ult that means you can only use it on xvalves right?

hostage

you can use classic 68 valves too, though we may have to get people to send in their marker to modify it for the ult.

A dropped a ULT into my classic valve no problem (It's a Minimag valve). The only problem I ran into was "chuffing" the trigger, put this problem shouldn't occur with an electro frame. The actual instilation was easy, no modding needed.

I have some pics/sketches on what it could look like!

cool post away :) love seeing peoples ideas, granted there is limits what we can do, though isn't it cool to have something designed and say to people, that was my idea :)

Mabye you should design a standard .45 frame first, just to get a baseline model of your eframes. Then modify that to become a verticle one. But if you can get all those features in a regular .45, I would love to buy it

he already has boo-yahs :p

hostage, you need to design a frame around the boo-yah internals... like they're doing with the hyper one

i'd be interested in that... i like my boo-yah alot more than any hyper ive shot yet

hostage

hyperframe booyaahs and all spyderframes have the same internals, other than different boards and software

with a bit of modding, couldn't a spyder frame be put onto a mag body?

i miss 3 days and i come back to this.:p sweet although i know you are still in the beginning steps of the process, can you give us a quote on about how much this frame will be around. again i know your still in the early stages of development but just a ball park figure. thanks

hey, i'm shooting you a pm about the ergo-eframe thing going on. I'm actually working on my own design and I want to compare ideas.

both you (hostage) and that other guy announced your projects before I was even prepared to finalize mine. :(, oh well.

I think a new frame would be awesome for the people who love mags but hate the stock grips on EMags.

when, when, when? sorry to pester but this would probably make me keep my mag, that i have been trying to sell. Can we get some stats or update. thanks

Just hang in there, they will come out. And if you sell your mag you will miss it, trust me.

Here's a suggestion. You should consider using a micro-switch for the trigger switch (the one used on markers like the Timmy, Bushy, Angel, Tribal, etc), in case some people opt for a different weight trigger switch. It seems (to me anyway) that they're more common than the size that the Boo Yaah frame uses.

So Hostage whats your status on this project?
