How does the thief expect to do anything with the X? Anywhere it goes its going to attract attention. Try to sell it and people will check the serial. Lets hope they catch them soon.

I hold as much contempt for thieves as I do child molesters! They are both the lowest forms of humanity.

Couldn't they just get a new X Valve? Or is the sn engraved anywhere else?

Oh yea, good luck catch the perps. I'll be watching ebay, etc.

That's exactly what I was thinking was useless about AGD's theft report thingy.

By the way.. Doubt this has anything to do with the PanAM or the markers being stolen but the Wells Fargo next to where I stayed got pelted by pink pballs. Kinda frusterating as a player seeing the acts of immature people.

Hey, I saw this on ebay, blue xmag for sale from a "0" feedback seller, just wondered if this was it?

That one almost looks to dark of a blue. Then again pictures can distort color. I hope they find it.

Whomever that eBayer is he using Josh Silvermans pictures and he is from same area as Josh so I just would not consider that one to be related at this point. Ask Josh and he can tell you all about that one. There are not That many blue ones out there really.

The one that is missing is kind of a light blue... kinda like Tom's. Maybe a bit darker.

EDIT: Found pic on someone else's post. HOpe they don't mind me using it. http://www.christianpaintball.com/images/031205PanAm/images/dsc06784.jpg
Can't really see it but it's on the table.

I hapen to know of a couple of folks who deal in "secondhand goods" in the area... I will keep my eyes peeled for it.

I think that the tourneys should start noting ser nums on markers that play in the tournys ... maybe make a nationwide database.... an honust to god one ... hmmmmm

Then someone would come play a tourney and bam... hey that marker is listed as stolen. <shrug> then again I am sorta deranged too.

I'm pretty sure there are lots of second hand stores in Vegas. I really think though that whoever took it is gonna probably keep it and claim it as there own.

Does it strike anybody else as weird that the individual selling the Blue X on ebay says

quote: "I plan to reorder a custom x-mag at the start of next season"

anybody knows that an X ordered at the beginning of next season doesnt see feild until the seasons nearly over, unless im talking out my a**.

Well he might be very aware that Tom just told you the backorder is about to dry up. And he might be aware they going to get easier to get....

Like I said I think he is someone Josh Silverman knows. So we need to ask Josh.

People like this guy piss me off.

He/she/it needs to be caught and nailed to the wall to teach these people a lesson.

I just checked the theft report on pbnation and someone stole a person's Excal at the tourny as well. Maybe they are linked.

Chances are that the ebay auction you guys are looking at isn't the same Xmag. (It may be a scam, since the guy has zero feedback).

The reason I say this is because it'a a 7 day auction that ends tomorrow, which means it was listed prior to the theft by several days.

RoadDawg - no problem using my pic. :)

I never even thought to take pics of the mags there at the table, it was right accross from our (CPPA) table. Anyway. It realy disturbs me that there are theives.

I hope that the person(s) responsible is caught and brought to justice.

I used to to live in Vegas. I'll have some friends keep an eye on WildCard PAintball, and there really aren't many fields there, Like two...one is insured, and ell run, the other is ran from a Trailer, out in the middle of the Desert. It's desert storm paintblall I think, everyone jsut called it Bar'ts field. That guy was a jerk.
Good luck with the mags

The ACI trailer was also broken into on the Monday night. He is out about $20,000.

That Ebay gun is not the one, but the color is the same. The thief had to get into the locked security area, wade through dozens of Merlins, Excals, and Bonebrake customs, then disassemble the stack of bins to get to the middle of it all, to get into the Xmag and MiniMag boxes. They also took the charging wire, but not the docking block.

Jeff is devastated about it all, and had all his fun sucked out of him for the rest of the day.

The fact he dug kind of indicates he knew where to go.... insider job or friend of someone who worked the show? I'd look towards those people first.
