My vote is to get the xValve. The bodies are hot and all, but they're not going to bump up your performance like the xValve will. Unless you're shooting a nice valve already, like an L10'd Retro or eValve, then the X is the way to go.

Peace man, Happy Birthday! :p

go X no doubt, the bodies are just cosmetics and weight, x will improve yourself greatly

x-valve!!!

as said before, body is just cosmetic and reduces weight... plus then you'll have to buy cocker barrels along with it

so just get the x-valve... and if you have $40 to spare, spend it on a ULT trigger kit... thats really worth it

or if you already have LX, pick up a used retro for $160 on the forums and pick up a ULE body on the forums for $120-130

I'd say it depends on whether you have a nitro system yet or not.

Just get the new RT Pro comes with everything for almost the price of just an XValve. No point in upgrading anything we just get to buy new guns...

Ya but for $50 you get a whole new gun with a barrel for that ULE and the XValve he wanted. Then he can sell the old gun, keep it for a loaner, or give it away.

By the way I was adding it with trade in price. If he doesn't trade it in its actually cheaper to get the new gun.

Are you running N2 or CO2? b/c an x valve will not under any circumstances run on CO2 so if you are planning on getting the x valve and still running CO2 you will have to get HPA first.

Go w/ the X valve then. It is pretty cool just be careful and don't over tighten any screws that go into it, it is aluminum and it will strip.

As pretty much everyone else has said, if you've only got the classic valve without L10 then I'd absolutly get the X-Valve. Retro valve and L10 (2 most important Mag upgrades) all rolled up into one light weight package!
