Hey, I just got my new(used) RT valve for my mag. I remeber seeing/hearing that the RTs have to chrono different b/c of shootup??

Yeah, you have to hold the trigger back, then release and shoot again real fast. It heats the on/off up. Something real close to that, I may have a few facts off but I'm 99% sure on that;) I just chrono around 270:)

The real reason is that the valve/reg recharges so fast that the air inside is actually heated up. Hot air is at a higher pressure than cold air (usually). As we all know, the regulated pressure is what determines velocity in a mag. The higher the pressure, the higher the velocity.

Under rapid fire conditions, the velocity will go up. By chronoing this way, you are simulating rapid fire. This way, you chrono at the right speed.
