AGD tech classes

How exactly would I go finding an AGD tech class to become a certified technician?

You don't.

The tech class you are talking about is invite only.

However, Tom does a tech class at IAO on a few items. This past year was ULT and Level 10.

So what your saying is people that work on AGD products do it independently and take a risk by working on peoples guns without being certified.
