It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7%. A robust private sector is led by the Information Technology, Furniture Restoration, and Uranium Mining industries.

Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, military spending is on the increase, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and public nudity is compulsory. Crime is a problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons.
