That is truly amazing. :D Do you draw just for fun or is it a career. If it’s not a career, it should be! That is as good as the one Ronn Stern did. It really is amazing. We need posters!

Nope I drew both pictures, I have them sitting here, the only thing I photoshopped was the size and the lettering.

I wish it could be a poster....that would be cool:D

Thanks Army for fixing the post...I'm a little html illiterate:D

Clare your very welcome, you're the best :)

Hitech no it's not a career just a hobby....artists usually starve ya know:)

I am still saving up for some engraving tools, I plan to do the same type of engraving that is photorealistic. That should be a blast!

Very nice. Good job.

Yes, you should consider making posters of your work. You have a CafePress store already you could offer them done through there to begin with, and then expand to more traditional printing.... just a thought.

Well done Heather. I like your other work to. Seconds on the thanks for sharing

The Frymarker

Thanks Sam,

As for Cafepress they seem to be quite expensive for the customer, I never really sold much from that shop, I was actually the top buyer...hehe I'm my biggest fan.

As far as traditioanl methods of printing, if Tom wanted to make this a poster I wouldn't mind, I would give him the right for nothing, it would just be neat to know that people have bought a piece of artwork that I made and have it hanging up.

Have you looked at local printing shops? Sometimes you can find good deals on printing. Also the last I knew Kinkos offered larger scale printing too, and would allow you to do limited runs at reasonable prices. And normally you can call them up and set it up on the phone and e-mail them your file for printing. Then you just go pick them up.

Yes, CafePress tends to be a bit pricey on products. It is however a decent “stop-gap” that allows limited runs of products as well as having no up front costs for production. And I am sure like yourself, it makes buying special “free-bees” easier for me for putting in with special orders, or prize/promotional packages. Heck, getting 4 or 5 t-shirts, Frisbees, coffee mugs, and whatnot for these types of things is much more affordable than having to order and buy 100s of each just to have for promo use. And then you have the shop just in case customers want to buy it anyways.

And unless you have the Premium shop, you don’t lose money anyways… and even WITH the Premium Shop you lose virtually nothing.

Sorry… just drinking my morning coffee and typing away…….

I think we have another Ron Sternn here:)

Heather, if you are looking to print that out to poster size, look into the Fuji Frontier print systems (Wal-mart and Sams club usually have them). They can print up to 36x42" prints and as long as it's a good scan they look great.

Wow, really nice Heather. Give us a quick narative of the dialogue going on in the cartoon with the two chicks. Something like... "He's MY man... and it will take more than a hoochie in a flame jump suit to steal him"

Whoa ! Holy Crap......I got stickied! Thank you so, so much Tom and Army for your assistance!

Well I thought about it and took Sam's advice. I spent all day coming up with artwork images to put on Cafepress stuff.
That way you can have what ever you want at an affordable price.

Clare I hope you like it, I added your web address to all images pertaining to you.

Sponge I pm'ed you

Prezents you're the best!

Bolter Thanks:D

Jedi a post from you would be a good one unless you've been edited!

Luke thank you so much, I really haven't had that many people wanting to buy my artwork, I'm flattered. Actually the original is really 2 drawings on two 8.5x11 pieces of paper. My scanner is not that big and will only hold 8x10 so in order for me to make larger sizes I scan them in.
If you want to buy both original pieces sure, or if you would like me to draw another original on larger paper I can do that also...pm me.

Creative Mayhem....actually I was going to do a drawing of a few people that were at the SCAO. When I get the chance.

Again Tom and everyone thanks so much for your kind words and enthusiasm. AO YOU'RE THE BEST!

Here's the cafepress link and I will put one in the dealer's forum:

Heather has done some fantastic work!

Check out the drawing that she did for AGD Pride. I've included the original photo of us from World Cup as well so you can compare the two.

This was Tom's christmas gift from the team and we're all very pleased at how well it turned out.

Thanks again Heather!

simply stunning! I can't even draw stick figures well. I can do rudimentary diagrams like any engineer should, but beyond diagrams and graphs, my drawing skills suck. I can, write, and write pretty darn good, but draw . . . nope . . . not even to save my life.

Yep, she had to add you, Dan, and Timmy to the pic.

You and Dan were hiding behind Butch's massive 13 pod harness and Timmy wussed out and decided to sit this game out so that Manny could play. :D

That is awesome Heather!! All your drawings are great and very lifelike! In the drawing of AGD Pride, I LOVE how you turned the background (banner?) into the lion's mane...VERY well done!! :D
