Im getting an evolution2 and im prob gonna have to cut the feed neck down because its sooo damn high. I was wondering if any of you guys have done it and does it effect the feeding (misfeed, doublefeed, chopping)
Also how many mm did you guys cut off OR did you just do 1 full inch

I haven't had any problem with mine. I cut a full inch out and now the battery door sits about 3/8" above the body of my mag.

Hacksaw seems like it would work the best, unless you have a dremel that is

Cutting will make it shorter, duh, so thats always a plus, but you do slow down the feeding rate by cutting it, but its minimal. I also belive that by cutting it you will have less of a chance to crack your feedneck, which is very, very, veeery common. Just watch Derder ;) (Best paintball video, ever!) How to solve that problem? Get a halo! ;) We have two for sale, contact velocity paintball, clear shells, newest software, and no tax at $95. I used a metal bladed hack saw, but I heated the blade before I began cutting, it runs through like butta ;)

be careful not to put too much stress on the seam in the plastic right there. Mine was pretty rough to cut with a hacksaw, the plastic kept flexing at the seam. So what I had to do was cut half way through until I got to the seam, then flip it over and cut it through the other side.
I had to do a significant amount of sanding when I was done.

Would a Big A$$ Circular Saw Work??

Not unless you have a real fine blade on it.Otherwise it's just going to kick and break something.(or chop of your finger)

Go to walmart or something and buy a Hacksaw blade.Even if you don't have a hacksaw, just wrap a sock or a rag around it and saw it off. Please don't maim yourelf.
