NEVER and i mean NEVER oil a solenoid

if it is completely required to lube it, you should use grease ONLY - usually DOW 33 corning grease a.k.a. shocker lube

usually, you won't need to grease a solenoid spool for almost a year

Ok. Thanks. Are you sure it doesn't need a grease out of the box? When I shoot it the noid stays up and doesn't release. I give it a shake and it will fall back into play, but I can't be shaking it when I walking the trigger.
