Another funny thing is that the Dm4 is ugly and JT still copied it. Even the Omni pressure reg looks like a hyper reg. JT i think is the first company to hype an LED or Organic Light emitting diode (OLED)

You gotta understand, that gun will work just fine for some happy kid that never had an electro. Marketing is a funny thing. All markers are not created equal. They all fit their one niche, if people are willing to buy them.

Theres no reason that AGD should sue Smart Parts. Wow, seriousally the 2003 Shocker is waaay too ugly to be compared with the looks of an xmag. The 03 shocker has nothing in common with ANY mag, besides maybe cocker threading :p
Oh, and there is a copy of a mag. Its called a Desert Fox made by ICD. Its not the only copy out there, either.

Here's the way that I see it, and perhaps I'll get flamed for this:

If the marker works well, and is priced accordingly, I would be tempted to purchase one myself. While I think that JT's usage of stupid names like "Power Transfer" is dumb, you've got to admit, every company uses stupid marketing tricks, such as:

WDP: naked women and guns that play music
WGP: Accuracy and range
JT: Power Transfer and Quadra Vision
AGD: Scantily clad women
SP: Naked women and negative allusions

It's not like Kingman is the only company that uses dumb marketing to appeal to the paintball community - it's that they've adapted to their market. Sure, here on AO, we know that "Power Transfer" is a fancy name for "Steel Braided Hose," but most of the newer and less experienced players might not. It's up to the paintball community to push for different advertising.

Let's try for something original, like...naked women... :rolleyes:
