Anyone checked em out yet? My local shop just got one in, I gotta say, Im impressed. Defenitely a solid feeling gun and the length is much better. I dont really like how close the guard is to the reg though, feels a lot like a cocker, which I hate:o Still, if I was forced to get a Timmy (WOE IS ME!) this would defenitely be it...defenitely blows any other Ive held out of the water

edit: Here's a pic that Manike psted a while back. The one at my shop had a different trigger guard and grips, and was a silver/gray/black gun

hmm, i thought they were gonna get down the trigger frame, so the back doesnt stick out so far?? thats what stops me from wanting one

The back acts as a snatch grip, pretty cool I think. And who cares about the lenght of the back? Its not like it really matters, the gun isnt any further in front of you

For some odd reason, I prefer guns with a long back. It's one of the things that drew me to the LCD Angels and Cockers.

it's a clamshell type trigger frame
the oldder emags have them, i have one cuz i traded my ule away to a friend for an old one and my sexy trigger i have now, you really dont feel the difference when u play.

I shot Manike's Timmy at AO SC 2. It is by far the best Timmy yet! It is super fast and light! Still for the price, I'd get another X-Mag!:D

Del Hobbies always has National guys like Carmen and all playing, and the past weekend had a flood of these guns. All the problems that were originally had with people all seemed to have been cleared up...and lemme just say..this gun is what everyone is prolly gonna want. Ripped like no other, all had nice looking annos, had light bodies, and look pretty darned sexay. Only question I had was how debounce and whatnot was set with the new boards..because some of the guns triggers seemed as if they were going a lot faster than they should be. Thats just me though, ;) .

Im sure my buddy will get one next fall or so, his mom likes to load him with money and of course if you dont shoot what the pros shoot then you suck:rolleyes: Still a cool gun, but I dont really like it, ESPECIALLY for that money.

By the way, the grips pictured on that Alias are the ones that come on the Empire.

my pro shop's team (minor threat) is sponserd by empire and they r getting the timmys and they get pants and jerseys and everything......its pretty cool......if only i was that good....oh well im getting there

Hate ALL the "Clamshell" type grip frames.

Not a fan of a company logo being the focal point of the gun.Specially when it's not even the gun's manufacturer.

Does anyone else think those guns are WAY overdone? The milling on timmys just keeps getting worse and worse, I think. The only real milling I actually like is on the lasoya.

way overdone? lmao, this gun is PERFECT. the milling is sweet, the gun rips like crazy, and its light as he!!. heres a lil eye candy :D

As the Empire's creator, he got one of the first ones,if not THE first one, made and the board with the integral LCD was still under development at the time.

I have a 2k3 Storm Timmy and I have already got the chance to play a game with an Empire Timmy the only thing I like more about the Empire then the Storm is that the trigger frame was moved up more so its more balanced. Thats why I love the balance of 2k2 Shockers because of the trigger frame being moved up to the middle of the gun.
