Mods, feel free to move this to tech if i goofed

Sooooo I wanna get myself one of these sweet black warp ULE bodies BUT then I read ... "Your rail will need a small machined notch to accept the feed tube"

now i am wondering .. I have a dremel .. I routinley fix automags and whatnot and have worked with drill presses and metal .. BUT what kind of a notch are we talking about???

Does anyone have pics?

*edit* oh yeah, I have a notch cut out of my rail for a pump arm .. will that matter?

Wow, I didn't realize the "notch" had to be that big. Are they looking to fix the need to do this any time soon? I wouldn't want to dremel my new ULE rail just to put on the body, but I guess if I had to.

I had PUDBUDZ mill mine and it looks good. Dont go by that pic it looks like someone used a chain saw. Most of the ones I have seen done with a dremel look bad. Thats why I had a pro do it for $25

Or you can buy a RogueRail thats pre-notched and anodized. Here is a pic of one raw...

I was going to ask you if you did that. I'm going to be getting one of your rails for it too.

Thanks for the picture rpm07. I really love the way your e-mag looks.

I'll just chime in on Rogue's rail. He did a professional job with the one I got and it has a matching notch on the other side so when I go vert it doesn't look lop sided. Plus it started raw, milled raw, and anno'ed so no raw spots showing or voided warranty. :)
